Social Science Concentration
The History & Social Sciences are a variety of academic fields that center around the study of human beings, both as individuals and as members of groups. In this concentration, students use ethnic studies, history, sociology, political science, and geography to develop an in-depth and sophisticated understanding of human society and behavior.
This concentration is aligned to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing requirements for a Supplementary Authorization in Social Science that can be added to your future credential. See a concentration advisor for more information.
